There's something I wonder about homophoby. The word litterally means you're afraid of gay people etc. But most such people really don't express angst at all, but hate or despite... so? I find nothing bad in fear, but a lot in hate.

How horrible to see so much nastiness and hate around the subject of love and sexuality. And choice? I don't believe people choose to be gay - who would choose it, knowing what we all do about how much bigotry, loathing and discrimination abounds, even among fans of one of the most ambiguous artists in rock. You'd have to be pretty sado-masochistic to choose to be gay, even in this day and age.
As an artist, Harvey may flirt with first and third-person narratives about all and any kinds of sexuality - only she knows what her own private feelings and desires are. And I believe it was in the famed Q interview with Bjork and Tori that PJ actually pointed out that she sometimes fancied women as well as men. I don't take that to mean she's gay, or bi, just open-minded. Plenty of straight girls admit to fancying other girls, it has always struck me as odd that more straight men won't (can't?) admit to finding other men attractive. It's strangely *******-less in a way.
Anyway, my point - let's just be nice huh? Or shall we argue about whether Polly might have veruccas, in which case is it OK for other people with veruccas to like her? Or not?

I'm totally agree with you ripebanana. Why people are so freak about love. hey is just love , nothing bad in it. And it's so f****g hard to find it, that when you have the chance to feel it nobody should have the right to judge you.

I love gay people.
I love straight people
I love bi's and trannies.

I don't, however, like *******s, regardless of sexual orientation.

Some of you need to stop kicking below the belt. It's not very becoming.

i LOVE U lintriago.

every woman is a man and every man a woman.someone knows, someone doesn't.someone loves/accepts the doublesided identity, someone gets confused or even scared.someone believes there's a god on the clouds who once created two different creatures, created to complete eachothers.the platonic circle.the only fact that we're talking about pj's sexual identity means descrimination:if not,why is it important to estabilish if your beloved singer likes men or women?to me she coould ever fancy dogs.this is what Bjork thinks about it:
"I think everyone's bisexual to some degree or another; it's just a question of whether or not you choose to recognize and embrace it. Personally, I think choosing between men and women is like choosing between cake and ice cream. You'd have to be daft not to try both when there are so many flavours."
let's all go to the confectionery shop!who cares if polly will choose the cake or the ice cream!

Actually, it means that I love Rob. I loved Judas Priest when I first heard them back in 1984. Back then, the rumor was that Rob was bisexual. I didn't care then. I loved the tunes.

When Rob came out of the closet and announced he was gay at the end of the 1990s, I didn't care. I still love the tunes. He's still one of the best singers in the world. Period.

I could never understand why someone would stop listening to an artist that they've loved for years when they find out that person's sexual orientation is different from their own. Stuff like that shouldn't even matter. Rob's gay and I'm straight. Do I care? No.

If Polly was gay, I wouldn't care (except that I would know that it would be pointless to try to pick up on her, then. Hell, it might still be pointless for me to try to pick up on her now! ).

All I can say is: "Grow up, get over it and enjoy some great tunes."

I like gay men, because statistically it improves my chances with the smart hetero girl in the corner...(despite being a drummer/generally looking unkempt)

Well...in theory.
